sk It has been an honour and privilege for me to take charge of Bankura Sammilani College in July 2026 as the Principal of this prestigious institution, one of the best in the district of Bankura. Established in 1948 by Bankura Sammilani Registered Society, a Social Service Organisation with the noble and prudent vision of propagating higher education among the people of Bankura and adjoining areas of West Bengal, this institution has catered to the academic and cultural needs of the community at large.  In the last NAAC accreditation the college was graded with B++ (CGPA 2.97) by the NAAC in 2023, marginally missing the landmark of A grade.
